PERSONALITY:
louvel is a geek; anime and video games are his life, and his schoolwork usually takes a backseat. he’s not a person one would look to for advice or responsibility, and he’s an extreme slacker. this is however, not true when his parents are around, seeing as they don’t know anything about him and he doesn’t want them to. they think he’s their perfect girl who does all her school work and always does whatever they say. it’s safe to say that louvel has stopped going near his parents as much as possible. he’s very open about who he is at school, at least around other students, and to teachers he just seems like a shy girl who spends most of her time doing precisely what they don’t want her to.
he tends to avoid physical compliments and comments period due to his extreme distaste for his physical body, and instead has taken a good part of his time and set it to gaining his own knowledge. through this he’s come to believe he has a talent for understanding people’s minds which he doesn’t have nearly as strongly as he believes he does. he does, however, have an amazing talent for empathizing with people, and has turned this into a certain kind of obsession. he believes it is his life’s mission to fix people. to help them get through the drama and pain, and then let them be themselves. he has it in his mind that everything is acceptable as long as it hurts no one else.
on another note, louvel actually feels rather horrid about himself. he hides it behind a touch of fake charisma and pretends he’s much more confident than he really is. he pretends not to notice the feminine features he’s often complimented on and tries his best not to act obnoxious like he is so certain about being. everything is an uphill battle for this kid, but as long as he’s not alone, louvel is almost always okay.

HISTORY:
ever since he was a child, louvel has been telling his parents that he’s male, and they’ve always just said ‘oh honey, it’s okay. it’s just a phase.’ this has created very unstable ground between him and his parents, and has taught louvel to socially outcast himself. he did make one friend that stayed his through junior high, though. lance. lance was amazing, in no way interested in louvel, and a dark angel. louvel hated lance at first, the epitome of masculine energy, but it was a hate born of envy and the envy drew louvel in. by the end of the first week of seventh grade, louvel and lance were best friends, in a quirky kind of way. half a year later, louvel decided that despite what his parents said, he was going to live as a boy and that he was also going to take up sewing costumes like those in his oh-so precious anime. louvel and lance gave each other up a week and a half before they both went off to high school. this was a result of both getting hit with hormones at roughly the same point in the summer, and both having the notion that it would be the best idea ever to experiment with one another. ever since, louvel has been flying solo again.
in freshman year, louvel developed severe asthma, which, along with his raynaud’s disease and near-benign heart condition, was probably a result of his unnaturally mixed blood. during this time, he was also experimenting with his abilities and trying his hardest to avoid being seen as something his parents could be proud of, spending a whole lot of time trying to be their worst nightmare. this calmed down by sophomore year, though. he mellowed out a bit, went back to being that shy girl in the corner that her parents admired for her obedience while underneath simmering with distaste. in the past year not much has changed.
he’s had a few off and on friends, a few acquaintances. a few tiffs with his parents and not much has happened. since the rebellion has begun, he’s found himself pretty useless to either side due to his physical incapabilities and the lengthy limits on his abilities. instead he’s been willingly pretending to be oblivious to most of the conflict. as usual.
