The greatest adventure is there if you're bold.
Let go of the moment that life makes you hold.

FEW SCENES FROM MY LIFE
OR MOMENTS MEAN MORE TO ME
OR MOMENTS MEAN MORE TO ME
DISLIKES: heights, aging, untidiness, public restrooms, packing peanuts
STRENGTHS: thoughtful, trustworthy, adaptive, enthusiastic, open-minded
WEAKNESSES: indecisive, combative, foolhardy, envious
PERSONALITY: Her attitude toward the situation gripping the city is of a dismissive nature; that may be why Rex always seems to be in her own world. She mostly keeps to herself and very rarely seeks out the companionship of others. Rex's standoffish attitude burdens her with doubt, but her stubbornness eliminates any chance of obtaining a potential friend or mate.
To the few friends she does have, Rex is considered to be a lively bundle of blinding sunshine. Her enthusiasm knows no bounds, and her rough handling of life embodies her eagerness to be ultimately happy and free. If Rex wants it she will go after it until it strips her bare to the bone. Such an attitude can be viewed as optimistic, but it has gotten Rex into trouble thanks to her foolhardiness.
Rex grows weary of wishing her life could be longer lived than that of the average human being. The world is a bittersweet place she wishes to continue exploring for eternity, but she understands that it is a farfetched fantasy forever out of her reach. Still she reaches.

HISTORY: Rex was born as Ceci Lee Driskil on April 30th to Trixie and Justin Driskil in the San Joaquin county of California. She had a brother, Luka, who was three years older than her. They grew up together as best friends, neither ever really getting along with their parents. They lived a comfortable life and always found something to occupy their time out in the country while avoiding their stingy parents. Rex learned in time that her parents never really wanted to have kids, but did anyways to please the expectations of her grandparents. Both children were already so disconnected from Trixie and Justin that they simply shrugged it off as a minor inconvenience.
Rex and Luka stuck together like glue throughout their childhood and teen years. Eventually Luka moved away to pursue his dream of becoming an astronaut, nearly dragging his sister along with him in hopes that they could both find a better life together. Reluctantly, Rex stayed behind to continue her college education but always made sure to keep in touch with her brother. When he was twenty-three Luka died in a spacecraft accident on his first and last mission into space. It devastated Rex, and she immediately left her parent's home and dropped her entire education to be on her own. She became a vulgar hateful thing for some time. Not long after, she changed her name to Rex, a nickname given to her by Luka when they would pretend to be dinosaurs out in the cherry orchard next to their parent's house. She even changed her last name, not that it was needed. It was very doubtful that her parents would ever go looking for her.
Rex eventually made her way over to the east coast with what little money she had saved up. She managed to snag a job and find a small apartment to call her home. She never made it her business to explore what the city was going through.
