 Welcome to the City of St. Louis, right on the east side of the Show-Me State. While famous for it's food and the Arch, it is also famous in these times for it's tolerance of other species. Yes, other species, do you live under a rock? The other humanoid creatures that walk this Earth. Vampires, Gifted, Shapeshifters, Magicians, Deities, and the Misc, all walking alongside the humans. For years, the species have warred, and though it is a peace time, tension is still in the air around all the globe, and there is even some in the city of St. Louis, though it's is on a lesser degree than in other places.
Many judgments are passed based upon things we can't decide, like race or species. This is not something one person can globally control. But you can decide, can't you? Maybe you can't change what species you are on your own, but you can decide how you'll manage to walk peacefully with the other creatures on Earth and in the Gateway to the West.
