PERSONALITY:
laid back - patient - usually relaxed:: Sali prefers to be relaxed and not be up in someones face. Most of the time she's kind of in the background, observing everyone and everything that's going on. It's not a surprise to anyone who knows Sali for her to stay quiet during a conversation and just give soft nods, maybe a slight answer here and there.
battle hardened - scarred:: Being a Dark Angel tends to freak some people out, she's not necessarily looking for a fight but some people don't handle that impending doom feeling they receive around a dark angel too well. The scars she hides beneath clothing or make-up since she'd rather not talk about the marks on her skin. Mentally she is a bit scarred from the things she's seen and the things she has done. She's not exactly unstable, but she's not exactly stable either.
passive - dismissive - ignorant at times:: She prefers to ignore certain things in her life, like those involving war, idiots, stupid actions and so on. She's purposely ignorant, not unknowingly so, and she likes to stay out of the political goriness of the world. Yes, Salidavya knows of the rebellion in the city but she pays no mind to it. If they wish to act like a bunch of morons, they can do it without her.
loving - honest:: There's a lot of love in the Dark Angel heart of hers but she doesn't use it because her life is by Dark Angle rules. They don't love until they are loved, so all of that adoration and loving is locked up in her heart. It's silly for someone to say they cannot tell a lie, but when it comes to Sali even the tiniest of lies makes her feel horrible and then she'll tattle on herself.

HISTORY:
Salidavya was born the second child in the tiny family of angels and would be the last child born to the family. Lilly decided that there were enough dark angel children to handle with sali and her older brother scrulla, with their weird names and all. She started to grow like a normal child, learning to talk and play with her older brother, then with the children at school. The one thing everyone noticed about Sali was her tiny stature and her very quiet way of talking. Teachers told her to speak up, her parents told her to be more active but Salidavya preferred to be by herself. It seemed talking louder was not something Sali would learn to do. Even when she grew to the age of eight where a child usually blossoms she couldn't speak very loud. She stayed quiet and in the back, out of the limelight.
In Sali's early teen years, she learned that being a Dark Angel was never all the fun considering people tended to cower in her presence. The impending doom thing with her quiet demeanor definitely turned people off and friends were a difficult thing to make. Her first true friend came along when she was about thirteen and opened up to someone. Sali learned what friendship meant at that time and she tried her best to make more friends. Forced herself a bit to be more outgoing but it didn't work. So, back into herself she went and she learned the ways of living the life of a dark angel. The worst was seeing her older brother fall in love and become a guardian angel at a young age, setting the path for her. Her parents seemed to think that because Scrulla fell in love, Sali should fall in love early on.
By the time she reached eighteen, there was not a prospect in sight so her parents began to give up hope. Sali ignored their constant prodding and insisting she open up some to just live her life. It wasn't something she cared to do, settle down and have children early, she wanted to live a bit. So, she avoided men like the plague until recently. Now at twenty-three she is beginning to entertain the idea of settling down, of finding someone to really love and give her heart to...and to becoming a guardian. Of course she has to get over some things first, like her memories of the fights she helped create at clubs and the mistakes she made in her life. It may just take someone pretty loose and relaxed to break this turtle from her shell.
