Well hello there. You must be knew to Falling from Heaven. I know this place can be a little confusing at first if you have no idea where you are going or what you are doing. Before you start your biography, I would definitely recommend that you check out our rules, which can be found here, the species list, which can be found here, our canon list, which you can find here, our plot, which you can find here, and finally our face claims, which can be found here.
The first you probably will need to look at is which species you want your character to be. The species list can be found above, but if you need additional help, do not be afraid to ask the staff for any, we love to help you guys out and will stop at nothing to do so. Once you have decided what species you want your character to be, you should find a pb that resembles what you are looking for in your character's appearances. The age of your character can vary a lot, depending on what species your character is. If your character is an angel or a vampire, they can age very slowly or very quickly up to their twentieth birthday, after which they seem almost frozen like that. It is that way so you can give some variation to your characters and not have every single one of them be exactly the same and way up their in age. As for demons, they work through their lives as a human does, they are born, they live to an old age in human standards, and then they die. But Demons recycle through their lives and while they do not remember it, they can search through themselves to find and remember their past lives, but this doesn't happen until the character is at least twenty years old. Hybrids depend on their parents. A vampire and angel combination will live the longest. A demon and human will live slightly shorter than any of the hybrids.
When it comes to personality, there are a thousand things to think of. Likes and dislikes can be things you, as a person, love to do, love to have, love to see, or hate to do, hate to have, or hate to see. Fears can be included as dislikes. Weaknesses and Strengths can be a lot harder to come up with. This site is a personality quiz that you could use by placing yourself into the character's prospective and answering the questions. The quiz can be found here. When it comes to the overall personality, explain each of these aspects and go in depth into the personality. It can help a role-player understand the difference between their character becoming your character's friend or enemy.
History can sometimes be a little hard. It can potentially be what makes and breaks a biography. If you think you have a good history, then great. Good for you, but some people aren't as lucky. When making a history, keep in mind important life changing events that make a character be the way they are with their personality. Include where they are from and if it isn't from New York, explain why they moved or what they are doing there now. Keep in mind that fears can and should be explained in this section, as to why they fear it and what makes them fear it now.
